For the restaurant Yoboni, not just a virtual tour was created, but a holistic, interactive ecosystem.
This digital experience combines a comprehensive virtual tour, an interactive restaurant menu, and a newly designed homepage and navigation, seamlessly integrated into the existing website to ensure a consistent user experience.

Project scope

01

Virtual tour

A fully comprehensive virtual tour allows visitors to experience the restaurant in a realistic way.
High-resolution HDR panoramas and intuitive navigation ensure a smooth and easy-to-understand user experience.

03

Homepage integration

05

Google Street View

The panoramas of the virtual tour were integrated directly into Google Maps.
Potential guests can explore the interior of the restaurant directly on Google Maps and gain a realistic impression before visiting.

02

Interactive dining menu

An interactive restaurant menu with a custom-designed layout and a clear structure.
All dishes were photographed in high resolution and realistically integrated into the virtual restaurant space, allowing them to be experienced directly “on the table”.

04

Website navigation

The homepage was redesigned as a multifunctional entry point, bringing together video content, a virtual tour, an interactive restaurant menu, as well as location and reservation information.
All key content is immediately visible, without additional navigation or scrolling.

06

Instagram 360 Tour

Instagram is one of the most important platforms for presenting visual content.
The virtual tour was integrated directly into the restaurant’s Instagram profile, allowing visitors to experience the atmosphere without leaving the app.

From visual spectacle to real value

Homepage before
Desktop mockup showing the old Yoboni restaurant website before redesign
  • The homepage was dominated by a visual effect.

  • Key information was not directly accessible.

  • For visitors, it remained unclear:

    • what type of restaurant it is,

    • what the interior looks like,

    • where the restaurant is located,

    • what dishes are offered,

    • how a reservation can be made.

  • The navigation did not lead users directly to relevant content.

Mobile dining menu before
  • QR codes on the tables led to a PDF version of the restaurant menu.

  • The format was only partially readable on mobile devices.

  • Zooming and horizontal scrolling were required.

  • The PDF menu offered no interactive features.

Homepage after

  • The initial screen is occupied by a multifunctional section that provides all key information without additional navigation or scrolling.

  • A clearly structured header navigation supports quick orientation.

  • Users receive immediate answers to the most important questions about the restaurant.

  • High loading speed and a fully responsive design ensure optimal use across all devices.

Mobile dining menu after
  • The existing QR codes lead directly to a new mobile restaurant menu page.

  • No changes to the QR codes already installed in the restaurant were required.

  • The adaptive design ensures good readability across all devices.

  • Clear categories and intuitive navigation make selection easier.

  • Dishes can be viewed visually “on the table,” providing a realistic impression of what guests will receive.
